If you are coming to Thompson Island for
a corporate outing, clambake or reception, you will probably take a boat
operated by Boston Harbor Cruises, leaving from Long Wharf in downtown Boston.
Please check with your event coordinator to confirm boat departure dock and
time. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
Driving
directions from I-93:
Exit I-93 at
exit 24. Turn left (North) onto North St. Bear right (East) onto Surface Rd.
Turn left (East) onto State St. Bear left (East) onto Long Wharf .
You may park in the New England Aquarium's
nearby parking garage, which costs approximately $25 per day.
Using public
transportation:
Take the T's blue
line to State Street, and walk to Long Wharf. Check in with Boston Harbor
Cruises staff to find out which gate your boat will leave from.
