Thompson Island welcomes visitors every Sunday beginning in June and ending on Labor Day.

How do I get to Thompson Island?

How long is the ferry ride to the island?

The ferry ride from the EDIC dock to Thompson Island is approximately 25 minutes. The MV Outward Bound will also be making a trip from Thompson Island to Spectacle Island, which is about 10 minutes away.

The ferry is $10 per passenger

Are there restrooms on the ferry?

There are no restrooms on the ferry however once you arrive on the island there are flush toilet facilities.

No, you can only get to Thompson Island by ferry.

No, we are a private island and therefore, private boats are not permitted to use our docks.

Can I bring food to the island?
